After a discussion with my husband, I decided on a couple lines from my favorite hymn to provide a theme for the year (and for my life). Love the look of the Subway Art so decided to make one for my theme.

Made for Stanley Elementary's Silent Auction - "Stetsons & Stilettos". The schools theme is Western so I backed the blanket using jeans - including the zippers, pockets, and seams.

What is a Doodled Carnation?

Doodled Carnation is a creation years in the making. As a teen in class I would doodle (like many of you) and I would draw and redraw the same flower. I don't know where I came up with it, but it filled the margins of my class notes from creation through college. I decided if I ever named something it would be named and logoed after my doodle.
